I designed this carpet inspired by the wheat motif in its classical section, with a particular emphasis on the timeless elegance of traditional Persian boteh patterns. To me, wheat stalks have always symbolized abundance, growth, and the eternal bond between humankind and the earth—just as the boteh, in our culture, represents life and continuity. In this piece, I sought to weave these two symbols together, so that the golden ears of wheat seem to take form within the boteh, telling a new story amidst the tapestry of traditional motifs. The choice of turquoise and earthy tones was deliberate, aiming to harmonize serenity and authenticity with a contemporary spirit. For me, this carpet is a reflection of a past that still breathes within the present.
